Scripture Scriber

Philippians 4:4 says "Rejoice in The Lord always and again I say rejoice." Scripture Scriber here to talk to you about always praising God-no matter what. Philippians 4:4 says we should always rejoice in God. Do you realize what that means? This means that no matter in what situation you are in, you have to rejoice. Usually, we only rejoice when we are happy but the God tells us to rejoice ALWAYS and if we only rejoice at certain times, we are not following his commands. I was having a devotion with my family the other day and we were talking about always praising God regardless of what we are facing. From losing a family member or getting a good grade on an exam, we should always praise God for His marvelous works. So next time you are feeling happy or even frustrated, remember Philippians 4:4 and take some time to rejoice in The Lord.

Scripture Scriber

Do you ever feel like you have to stand up to something or someone but are too afraid to dot it? Scripture Scriber here to talk to you about taking a stand. You should never be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, but if that's the case just remember this verse : "1 Peter. 3:14 which says: But suppose you suffer for doing what is right. Then you will be blessed. Scripture also says, Do not fear what others fear. Don't be afraid." This verse tells us even if we suffer for doing what is right, it won't matter because you will be blessed by God. Don't be afraid to do what others are afraid to, trust in God. Recently, I read the book "The Lions of Little Rock" by Kristin Levine. It talked about a girl named Marlee and how she faces challenges of friendship, loyalty and racism. But because Marlee stands on "1 Peter 3:14", she does things that she thought she would have never done. So the next time you feel like you need to stand up for what you believe in, think of 1 Peter 3:14 (and Marlee!), and go right ahead. God bless you!
